International recording artist Wincey Terry-Bryant, is a native of Newark, NJ, who has worked with music industry giants such as Sting, Tina Turner, Dorothy Norwood, Tom Jones, Grover Washington Jr. and Dr. Bobby Jones. She has opened for great performers like Regina Belle, Tamela Mann and Ben E. King. Wincey is the featured singer on Monie Love’s hit single “It’s A Shame”. Her Television credits include: “Soul Train,” “The Arsenio Hall Show””Spike & Company Do It Acapella,”B.E.T. Dr. Bobby Jones Birthday Tribute”,“The Cosby Show,” and “Late Night with David Letterman.” Her voice can be heard on TV commercial and the famed children’s series “Sesame Street.”
Wincey is a resident artist for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, a presenter of arts-integration assembly programs for the Arts Horizons Agency, and a master teaching artist for the National Wolf Trap Early Childhood Professional Development Training program. CEO of Winceyco LLC and Executive Director of NanaBabies Non-profit organization, Wincey was selected to receive the “Phenomenal Woman" award by Kiss FM for her innovative arts programs for children.
More recently she was chosen “Woman Of The Year” by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and was also awarded the Human Rights Activist award by Women In Media for her efforts in raising Human Trafficking awareness. Wincey’s organizations produce musically-inspired educational programs and promote philanthropic initiatives for under-served populations. Complements to this work include self-produced inspirational music projects, educational CDs, DVDs, and childrens’ books. Each year, Wincey uses the publishing arm of her company, Winceycobooks, to turn dozens of writers into published authors.
Wincey is the arts chair of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. She is also a member of Zonta International, an organization that empowers women through service and advocacy. Terry-Bryant is the creator of Traffick Jam, an arts-inspired program that educates audiences about human traffficking in our local neighborhoods.
